Anger as brazen Katie Price laughs off three-month driving ban after conviction for being in charge of her vomit-covered pink Range Rover – but being CLEARED of drink-driving after blaming ‘mystery friend who ran off after crash’
Katie Price was today banned from driving for three months and fined £1,500 after being found slumped in a ‘very’ drunken state in the back of her vomit-covered pink Range Rover which police saw collide with a grass verge.
The former glamour model was almost twice the legal limit after drinking four pornstar martinis when she was arrested in the early hours last October in Greenwich, South East London.
But today she brazenly vowed to buy a new car as she spoke outside Bexley Magistrates’ Court.
I was given a choice of having 10 points on my licence or to be disqualified for three months,’ she said.
‘I chose to be disqualified for three months because it adds on to my disqualification that I’m already on, which means I get my driving licence back on the 24th of May which means I can go car shopping – let’s ban the pink car.’
Commenting on the ban, she said: ‘Brilliant, I thought I was about to get two years.’
Angry social media users have now taken to Twitter to condemn the ‘ridiculously lenient’ three-month ban.
One user said: ‘This is a ridiculously lenient punishment on Katie Price. No wonder so many people drink and drive, unless they kill someone it’s no big deal and inevitably at some point they will.’

Another said the sentence was proof there is ‘one rule’ for celebrities and ‘another for us’.
that it’s one rule for them and another for us because if any of us did what she did we’d be banned for life and would be fined a lot more,’ a Twitter user said.
‘But because she’s famous she gets special treatment’.
Price was said to have climbed into the back seat of her 4×4 to avoid being caught as the driver last year – but had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol.
