Innovate 1 Pay to co-sponsor the Central Bank Payments conference
Innovate 1 Pay, one of the giants in the field of payments processing in Africa, is to co-sponsor the highly influential Central Bank Payments Conference (CBPC). The conference is scheduled to take place in June this year in Berlin Germany and will attract a high-level delegation of officials and senior experts at the forefront of payments policy regulation.
It is expected that over 50 central banks officials and the who is who of the payments industry ecosystem will be in attendance. The conference will also attract private payments systems providers and other key market participants eager to network and to understand the central bank’s main concerns in the field of payment systems.
A major focus of this year’s conference will be spent addressing some key areas of concerns like mitigating the menace of` the ever-growing cyber threat. Other areas of interests will be having a greater understanding of the central banks oversight functions, interchange fees and card schemes, cross-border payments in the 21st century, the growing need for financial inclusion for the hundreds of millions of the unbanked, digital currencies, fintech, and a host of other key issues will be tackled.
Innovate 1 pay will be attending the conference with a strong delegation, including the chairman Mr Mahmood Ahmadu, the CEO Mr Anthony Nwachukwu, and other key individuals.
Innovate 1 pay recently received the much coveted Euro-Knowledge ‘Most Innovative IT Company of the year’ award at a glittering gathering of top international organisations and influential leaders from around the world at the British House of Lords in April 2019.
