‘Super Saturday’ last-minute Christmas shoppers
More than 10 million people are set to blow £1.4billion in a make or break D-Day for the high street.

Retail analyst Andrew Fowkes, of SAS UK and Ireland, said: “Retailers have had a tough 2018. Christmas will be a crunch time.
“With Super Saturday this weekend, last-minute in-store purchases could be critical.”
Mr Fowkes
Ex-Wickes DIY boss Bill Grimsey, who wrote a report on the future of the high street earlier this year, said: “My bet is this will be the worst one for bricks and mortar retailers ever.”
