US lawyers pursuing Ronaldo ‘rape’ claims will fly to UK to quiz his model ‘ex-lover’ Jasmine Lennard who claims she has ‘damning’ evidence on football star
American lawyers pursuing rape claims against Cristiano Ronaldo will fly to Britain to quiz the model Jasmine Lennard after she claimed to have ‘damning’ evidence against him.
Ms Lennard, 33, has accused Ronaldo of asking if she would like him to send naked photos of her to her father during a row and also tweeted unverified recordings she said are of him insulting women, gay people and the pop star Tulisa.
The Juventus star, 33, denies ever being in a relationship with Ms Lennard, a former Celebrity Big Brother contestant, while his lawyers said they were considering taking legal action against her over the allegations.
The footballer is facing claims he raped 34-year-old American model Kathryn Mayorga inside a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009. He denies the claim and said the sex was consensual.
Larissa Drohobyczer, who is part of Ms Mayorga’s legal team, told the Mirror: ‘Mr Stovall’s travel to London will be based upon discussion with London lawyer Jonathan Coad and his client Jasmine Lennard.’
Ms Lennard claims she dated Ronaldo in 2008 when he was playing for Manchester United.
Ronaldo’s lawyers said: ‘Mr Ronaldo has no specific recollection of meeting Ms Lennard 10 years ago or at any point.
